As a standalone application, Reference 4 Systemwide becomes a virtual audio driver delivering the Sonarworks SR sound. Your system’s audio output becomes calibrated based on the headphone profile allowing you to reference your favorite music ahead of a session or enjoy music as it was intended.

Reference 4 Plugin

The Reference 4 Plugin will sit at the end of your track, sub or master bus in any application supporting VST, AU, AAX or RTAS plugins. By an average headphone profile you'll remove unwanted hardware colouration. You can then work with confidence and hear every sound in your mix without leaving your DAW.

The plugin provides features that balances CPU efficiency and filtering latency. They include:
